Hi. My name is Aja King. I live in Western Canada with my Mom and Dad, my brothers, our dog Milo and our cat Yang.

 In my book I really want everyone to know that all our dreams can come true. My dream did and I know yours can! My horse Darby and I have been together now for almost 2 years. He is a quarter horse/ morgan and is a gentle, kind 7 year old gelding. We have fun jumping and just hanging out together. This is our second season competing in hunter/jumper events. I love him so much and we love the sport! It is great exercise for both of us. I don't eat hay or raw oats but I eat alot of whole grain foods! I would never give Darby junk food and I really try to eat very little of it myself.

Darby is a 'kid' too and both of us have to get lots of rest, eat healthy fresh foods (carrots and apples but he does not like raw broccoli , haha!) and we both drink alot of water. We both get alot of fresh air and rest. I don't spend very much time on the computer or in front of the tv. I find it alot more fun to be outside with Darby or on my trampoline. My cats like to jump on the trampoline, crazy! I hope you find fun things to do outside too.

People often ask me where the idea for my books came from. I got the main idea when I was living in China. My dad was working there and I went to school in Shanghai  for several months. It's a huge city and it was an amazing experience! Anyway, the idea came to me one day at school and it just grew from there. I hope you enjoy reading my book.

I am creating my second book right now  about animals having feelings too. My first book is on how to be healthy. My second book will have a lot more recipes on how we can help animals feels happy and healthy too.
