“Aja’s wonderful book will benefit so many others!” —Dr. Clinton Howard, Ph.D., Dallas, Texas

“Three Grin Salad” is a deliciously ‘edible’ book by Aja King, age eleven. The fare is easily digestible by everyone. It serves a healthy diet with plenty of exercise. Aja has recipes for daily living. The ingredients are included in her ‘Recipes for Gratitude, Peace, Love and Joy.’ Aja shows us the way with whimsical writing that does not preach but confronts the ‘junk food craze’ and suggests alternative food for thought as well as consumption. I heartedly recommend the “Three Grin Salad” and have just purchased another one for my granddaughter Rachel, who is nine. As a former B. C. general practitioner for about forty years I can heartily recommend ‘Three Grin Salad’ to adults, as well as kids.

Three Grin Salad is a fantastic book authored by a very informed 10 year old named Aja King. The name of the book is actually one of the Aja's recipes for a happy healthy life, of which there are five. My favorite is the recipe for Peace: INGREDIENTS 3 cups of happy sighs
6 deep breaths
1 cup of stillness
PROCEDURE
1. Mix the happy sighs and deep breaths in a big comforter.
2. Find a quiet comfy place.
3. Add in the cup of stillness.
4. Let it be as long as you want.
Aside from her recipes, she also outlines a typical day in her life, with the most important words and phrases in bold letters. Towards the end of the book, she asks twelve questions that help focus the reader on how they can have a happier healthier life. This book is good for kids from 0 to 225 years of age. This book should be on every child's shelf.
